"Maile" is an endemic Hawaiian plant. Found in all the main Hawaiian Islands, varies in form and sizes. This beautiful plant is still used for lei making, hula offerings and traditional medicinal practice.

Lei Maile was a favorite in old Hawaii and worn by all. Its known for its sweet fragrant and the stories it carried. The gathering process require skill, good intentions, and care. About couple vines are needed to make one twisty strand. Therefore, giving and receiving a lei maile is very special.
